The Writing and Communication Center will once again be open for summer hours.  The Center will be open June 29-August 21, 2009. Its hours will be Monday-Friday, from 10:00 a.m.-noon and 1:00-3:00 p.m.  Anyone associated with MIT may make an appointment to receive professional advice about any writing or speaking issue. The Center’s staff of published writers and lecturers can help with anything from an application essay to a thesis in any field, from writing a poem to writing a book proposal, from an giving an oral presentation to writing a resume, from grammar to writer’s block, from PowerPoint presentations to any form of professional writing. 
As always, appointments can be made at the Center’s online scheduler. The summer scheduler will be open on June 6, 2009. The summer hours are possible thanks to the generosity of the Steve Lerman (Vice Chancellor and Dean of Graduate Students), Deborah Fitzgerald (Dean of the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences), and Claude Canizares (Associate Provost).
