Prizes Checklist

The 2009-2010 Ilona Karmel Writing Prizes Checklist
Please use this checklist to make sure your entry is complete. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.

Check Box    Co-authored entries must be accompanied by a cover sheet for each author
Check Box    The student's name must not appear on any page but the cover sheet. The cover sheet must be the first page of all entries and will be temporarily removed from the judges' copies to ensure the author's anonymity.
Check Box    An individual may submit only one entry in each category within a particular competition.
Check Box    A header or footer stating the title of the work and the page number is required on each page of the submission. In the case of poetry submissions, the collection as a whole should have a title as part of the header or footer.
Check Box    All entries must be typed using 10 or 12 pitch or equivalent and proofread.
Check Box    A poetry entry to Ellen King Prize and Robert A. Boit Prize competitions must contain at least three poems.
